Nigel talks online safety with Kanishka Narayan
We’re always proud to see our creators using their platforms to be part of meaningful conversations, and this week Nigel did exactly that.
Representing Dadvengers, Nigel attended a roundtable discussion with Kanishka Narayan, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for AI and Online Safety, as part of the government’s national consultation, Growing Up in the Online World.
The discussion focused on some of the biggest concerns currently facing parents and young people online, including social media age limits, addictive app features such as autoplay and infinite scrolling, stronger parental controls, age verification and mobile phone use in schools.
Alongside other respected voices in parenting and family content, Nigel brought an honest and important perspective to the conversation around raising children in an increasingly digital world. As creators continue to play a major role in modern family life and online culture, it’s incredibly important that parents, carers and communities are included in shaping the future of online safety.
We’re proud to support creators like Nigel who continue to use their influence positively, helping spark conversations that genuinely matter for families across the UK.
